Question on Remington 700 not extracting

My shooting bud bought a barrel and action combo (no stock) off gunbroker (item number 195144304). It is in Winchester 300 Mag. It does not extract!

The rifle had a new Sako extractor installed. We took it to an excellent gunsmith and found that it had been rechambered to something else other that the 300 win mag. Can't tell w/o a barrel cast. It still took the 30 cal bullet.

What else could it have been rechambered to??????????

You name it, there are a dozen or more 30 caliber magnums it could have been reamed to and still allow a 300 Win Mag to chamber. Have your smith do a chamber cast.
