Question on Glock sights and Warren tactical sights

A few years back I bought a glock 19 I carried it for a while and ended up putting on a set of warren tactical sevigny sights. Plain black rear with a FO from sight. Recently I purchased a Glock 34 and a smith and wesson shield. The shield is filling the role of the carry gun now and the 34 is my range gun. So the 19 is going to be my bedside gun. I would like to put night sights on the 19 and put my warren tactical sights on the 34.

I went to a gun shop today and told them the same thing they warned me about removing the rear sight from the 19 because it stretches the metal and another sight may not hold on as well. Has anyone else had problems with this? I would like to put on a steel rear sight and a trijicon front post. Is my idea to put the warren sight set on the 34 a problem?

Second question, Warren tactical suggests a taller front sight post for the 34, I have not seen this with any other set of sights for glocks. Would my front sight on the 19 work on the 34? does anyone have any experience with the different heights on long slide glocks?

Wasn't this on Glock Talk also? Your LGS is wrong, I have installed over 200 Glock sights, many of them swaps. Yes, the press fit is a little less, but still plenty tight. You will need a taller front for a G34. Most rear sights do have set screws anyway.

9x45 yeah I posted it on glock talk as well. I got a lot of responses there too. A lot of them saying exactly what you said needing the higher front sight. Thanks for your input!
