Question for the HBE holster owners

I have been a fan of Eric's work for a while now and have 6 holsters from him, 4 being IWB's. I love them the quality is outstanding. I just have one issue with them, and that is the clips (metal) it does its job of holding on to my belt very well but I find that the outer edge sticks out a bit much. I've actually sliced some holes in a few shirts and almost sliced the leather seat in a buddies truck. So far I've just covered the edge with duct tape.. a sad fix for such a beautiful holster. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it ? I'm afraid to grind it, because I think that would just make it sharper.

HBE IWB Com II and the metal clips are smooth enough they don't do anything. I wear it at about 4 o'clock, always wear shirt out and have leather in all 3 vehicles. In fact, wish I could find another just like this one.

Are the edges on your that sharp?? maybe a bit of fine sand paper?

BTW appears mine do not stick out much farther than the flat part of the clips.

I might try the dremel thing, just to make the edge slightly smaller.

Here's a couple of pics of the clip currently.

Mine are much flatter. Maybe just flatten them out a bit??

He must have changed the clip at some point in time. I have a holster I got from him a couple of weeks ago and it has the flatter clip like yours. My two earlier holsters have the other one.

Yeah I haven't had any issues with the clip other than mentioned. Actually I was getting into my car one day and slipped on some ice and caught on the seat as I was falling and it didn't bend or anything, it held it shape.
I tried the leather loop style of holster before and just didn't like it.
