Question for everyone that post's here!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have herd on TV about some people that were refused admittence on passenger jet's cause thier names were on a list.
This question is for those who travel or tried to travel by air since
the WTC attack. Those of you that were refused admittence please
respond with a simple YES
Those of you that were not refused admittence please
respond with a simple NO
Remember! This is for people that post here, Post more than once!
The results should be very interesting!

CONCLUSION!!!

I ask this on 3 other web sites.
Out of 41 people that flew or tryed too, only 2 were
denied access to the plane.

The reason behind this poll.
The ABC's monitor these websites & have a file on everyone that post's on them! I wanted to find out how the ABC's have us classifyed.
(ie) If most or all of the 41 were denied access, than that would be proof
that we were on a threat watch list.

What would they have me under, snacktrack?

Seriously where did you get this? My real name is not linked to this internet handle whatsoever.

Count me as a No. And I've flown more times since 9/11 than I can count right offhand. But then again, I've not been posting here that long, so my data point is suspect.

And I don't know of anyone personally who has been denied boarding access, either.

Each online computer has a seperate ISP number.
Your place of buisness has that computer assigned to your name,
this way, your boss can keep tract at what your loging on to & keeps a record of it. All corperations do this.
The ABC's have access to that info.

Give it a break

This isn't a personal attack......
You have never, ever read the P.A. How do I know? B/c your quote above is the stuff of black helicoptors and aluminum foil hats.
One, you have to be the subject of an intelligence investigation for the ABCs (as you call it) to submit a National Security Letter. Being the member of a shooting forum is 1st Amemndment stuff. It is ILLEGAL to conduct an investigation based solely on that premise. DOJ WILL open an investigation on an ABC agent for doing so. If you state that you want to bomb abortion clinics, and some one reports you, then yeah, somebody might check you out.

Two, you are presumming that the ABCs tracks law abiding citizens w/o a reason. Comeon! Look, read the law and do some reasearch. You might discover that the law is intended to protect the citizens of the US.

THey might do this at big corporations where everyone has their own computer, but where I work many people use the same computer as we only have one computer for all the technicians.

I understand your point of how they can gain access to this info for example if they were investigating a crime and narrow down the suspects.

But how, are airlines going to blacklist people from information that they get from ABC which is totally guessing in the dark anyway.

My girlfriend lives with me, doesnt pay any bills, but if she is logging onto this site, how would her name be on the blacklist?

I dont find your method of polling to be too scientific either. Especially since you come to your conclusion after 3 people post a NO.

what Breacher said..thanks.

That's true, but I just spent less than a minute and found a picture of you and your real name, Travis. :)

... and I'm not a spook!

The point is that there is ways of getting everything on you. I know of a way to get all of a person's info! The only time I would time that I would use that way if if I'm trying to get in contact with someone I lost touch with. I would never dig into someone's personal info ;)

Personally, I don't care if someone knows where I'm at. If They have a problem with me, then they can come right to me. I will not hide!

#1: "Your ISP has to provide info on you."
Yup, but the "ABC's" would have to first know the IP you posted under. They'd need to come thru yours truly for that. To date, no such request.

Thread closed. The initial query can demonstrate nothing but our own limits of paranoia.
