Tremendous question. Have rough response in mind, workin on details. Loss of the right to keep firearms the price to pay for one possible response as would be certified wacko, without violence.
I am reading the option of possible reversal of downgrades into the question.

The act of presenting the Medal is purely theatre . When Congress authorizes it YOU GOT IT !!!The presentation does not amount to squat . Would I let him give it to me ? NO!!! There is a lapel pin for those that earned " The Button " and that I would wear as I wear my Paratrooper wings on a gold chain and on my belt buckle .
I think it is just plain disgusting that he is saluted everytime he gets on and off an aircraft . These guys must really need a job .
But even worse than them are the politicos that rushed to vote against impeachment when they would be the first to protest a person like that working for a school in their district . How many of these "civic minded " drones have pushed for Megan's law yet their "Pleasuredent " is on the list and their actions are conspicious by their absence . Lie to a court ? We do that and we go to jail .
