Question...Are HCI, VPC,CPHV tax exempt status?

The Christian Coalition recently lost tax exempt status, the IRS ruled they are too partisan.

So, if the above mentioned anti-gun orgs are tax exempt, perhaps that is an approach to gut them like trout.

If anyone receives their mailings, I imagine that they would state whether or not they were tax-exempt.
Does the IRS maintain a list of tax-exempt status organizations?

I'm at HCI's website right now....they have changed it and I can't find any info about the organization.

I did find this on a prelim search:

The best way to find out is to tell them you want to make a donation and request a copy of their tax exempt status for your files. They must provide it if requested so that you can take the deduction on your taxes. Once you have this, let me know and I can tell you the laws on it.

The Violence Policy Center (VPC) is a national 501(c)(3) educational organization. Donations are 100% deductible.
www.jointogether.org / is another heavy hitter that is often overlooked. They provide information to anti gun groups as to where to seek public (Read tax dollars) support.

VPC is the funder for HCI. Although donations to HCI are not charitable, gift to VPC are. VPC launders the donations for HCI.

Kind of like a "Straw contributor".
Actually, not kind of like, but exactly like.
