I like the keltec, neat little carbine that uses the same mags as my primary CCW. They wholesale for less than $300 so you should be able to do a little better than $340 OTD if you know how.
I usually keep my stainless 10/22 with a folding stock zipped up in a USGI spare barrel bag along with a hundred or so .22 rounds in a freezer bag, and several loaded hi cap mags.
I find myself using it way more than I did for any other long gun I carried in my vehicle. The package is pretty weatherproof and compact enough that it fits under my seat. For a casual plinking session or putting down road kill or feral animals it is just right.
