Question about roll pins

I have a Super Blackhawk that I would like to replace with something a little more exotic. It requires that I remove the roll pin so I can drill through the hole for a perfect fit of the new ones. I've been told I need to use roll pin punches so as not to bugger up the job. Is there a standard size that I should be looking for? Is there a specific kit I should get as a ruger owner?
Thanks

Roll pin holes should be reamed to size.

Drilled holes are ALWAYS larger than the drill, by at least a few thousandths.

Reaming produces a much more uniform and smooth hole.
