Question about Para Ordinance

I noticed that there seems to be a cut in the frame just behind the grip panels, and that the grips have a tab that fits into the cut. What is the pupose of this? Also, are the Para's series 70, or 80 style? Thanks for the help.

Walker, the cut is for the wider trigger bow to clearance in & the Para's are Series 80.
If your'e thinkin' of buying a Para, come on down & ask the guys on what they like ! :)

i have two para's, a p-14 .40 and a p-16 .40 limited. i think these are great guns plus with the three high cap mags for the p-16 you have 48 rounds plus one in the chamber! smile

I am looking to get a P16-40 limited. I don't see many people post complaints about the Para's here, so I'm guessing they are pretty good out of the box. I will probably stop by your site to pick your brain as I think of other questions.
