Question about M96 Expeditionary Rifle

I saw one of these today at a gun show near Atlanta. Been drooling over the ad in a gun rag since the first time I saw it. Some day I -will- have one of these.:)

Anyway, the one I saw today was going for $1,350 and came with both the 16 inch and the 20 barrels. Question is, was this a good deal? I haven't seen enough of these to know what the going prices are. Did I pass up the deal of the year? Someone came right behind me and bought it so I can't go back tomorrow. Just asking for future reference.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I may have missed out on a good deal.:(

Oh well, I'll just have to keep my eyes open for another one. I keep reading more and more positive comments on this rifle. If they are all true maybe I should buy some stock in the company as well as the rifle. Once they have more exposure time in the market sales should go through the roof if they keep getting glowing reviews.

I think that with both barrels this was a pretty good deal.

I talked to a Robinson's rep today and dealer price is $1200.

By the way he told me they will be shipping the Bren feed kit starting in January.

Thanks for the info folks. Next time I go with my first instinct and buy it.:) Hope I can find that vendor again (stupid me didn't get a business card) at another show.
