I bought a Leupold 40mm today and had a few questions about add-ons. Is is possible to add Butler Creeks flip-up lens covers and Scopesmith's ARD "grid-type" anti-reflector?
If not, what do I do? I don't have the adj/obj.
Yes, it will work. It was designed for the 1 inch tube scopes not the LR 30mm M1 or M3 variables.
the Butler creek caps will hold it on even on the Vari-X III 3.5-10x40LR M3. Alone the ARD is too loose. The ARD pakages clearly states what will and will not work.
