Please pardon my stupid questions :D

But am I correct in assuming that....
Brennekes are rifled slugs meant for use in a smoothbore. Am I correct?

Light Fields are sabot slugs meant for use in a fully rifled barrel or a rifled choketube, preferably the rifled barrel for best performance. Am I correct?

brennekes are Rifled slugs. they're solid and not hollowbased like the more common foster slug. (they look an awful lot like a semiwadcutter with a felt wad screwed to their base)

lightfield commanders are non rifled slugs that look like a mushroom, and are designed for rifled barrels.

I don't intend to confuse the issue, but Brenneke also make slugs for use in rifled barrels. I doubt that you would find them in your average gun shop, but you should be aware of the fact.
