Question about bm m4a3 front sights and mbus rear

Recently bought my first m4a3 bushmaster patrolman. New to it all, not a big fan of the detachable handle\rear sight. Was looking into the magpul mbus flip up rear sight but like the stock front fixed sight. My question is, if I take off the handrail/sight and install the mbus will it work with the stock front sight. Eventually would like eotechs 512 reflex and cowitness it with the mbus but that will be in the future. Until then stock a3 front sight match up to mbus rear flip sight? This is my first non bolt action rifle and would love to accessorize it. Thank you for any help

It will work fine. It's a nice rifle... You will enjoy it! I think the Eotech 516 http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/EOTech-516-p/eotech%20516.a65-fslash-1.htm is a better choice for a carbine than the 512. Controls are on the side and it has a 'step up' under the battery compartment to fit over tbe Delta ring. Once you add a rear BUIS you will run out of rail space so these two features come in very handy.
