Question about Alabama CCW

I have been a resident of Huntsville Al for 3 years. When I 1st moved here I lived in an apartment while house Hunting (8 months). My address on my license has the old address but all of my Info has been updated at the DMV.
My uncle is a City LEO and he said that all this required according to the city.

My question is.... do I need to get my license updated before handing in my CCW application or will that have any affect?

I probably know the answer but just wanted opinions?

I don't think you need to worry about it. But the easiest way to find out is to call the sheriff's office and ask, or see if you can just email whoever does the pistol license investigations in your county.
