This rifle looks brand new and the guy who is selling it says that it hardly has been fired. There is not even a scratch on it. Thanks for the responses.

J James K Member In Memoriam Apr 15, 2000 #2 Hi, Josh, First question, is it from the government Springfield Armory and converted to .308 or is it from Springfield Armory, Inc., and made originally in that caliber? Original GI M1s were made only for .30-'06. Jim
