My granddad gave me a .32 recently and I am always curious as to the origin of a firearm, can anybody give me an idea or where to start, I have never done a Forum like this before? it is a ARMINIUS, it has a sn/ of 117567 and says made in Germany. There are several markings on this handgun (HW5) and several other markings that I cannot describe? any information about this gun would be greatley appreciated

Arminius was a German maker in the town of Zella-Mehlis.

They were in business from 1922 to the mid-1970's.

These are of the "Saturday Night Special" class of firearm, and values are LOW.
Most are worth no more than $150 to $200 brand new, and used ones only bring $100 or so, IF you can find a buyer.
