Can any one venture a guess how much this would be worth in the original leather book with knife, lapel pin, 2 clips. Its unfired. I know some are asking $4000.00 and up and the blue book says around $3000.00 or so, but what is it really worth? The ones for sale dont seem to be moving. Thank you.
 
It is suppose to be 'worth' $3000 - $4000, I have seen them for sale at $4500, but as you said they have been for sale for years. It is only 'worth' what someone will give you for it and apparently they aren't giving $4000. You could advertise for $3500 OBO and see what happens.
