Quality of Taurus 22LR autos ?

I've got one, a TP-22.

It has been VERY reliable with Winchester ammo. I had some problems with CCI ammo not firing on the first strike, but with the Winchester, in nearly 2,000 rounds, it has been absolutely flawless in firing, feeding, extraction, and ejection.

Accuracy is ok, the sights give a point of impact slightly left of aim, but remember that it is nothing more than a last-ditch pocket gun.

Belly gun?

NO!

It's a shoot and scoot gun!

You've got that right!

It's definitely a last-ditch gun, meant to, if necessary, lay down some fire only to cover your hasty retreat.

I've pretty much retired mine now that I have a Smith & Wesson Model 042 matte Airweight in .38 Spl.

I'm considering selling the Taurus, but I hate getting rid of any guns.
