Hi Folks!
I had quite some bad luck with my first marlin, a 336SS which came out of the box with a rear sight way out of line and a crack in the rear stock, as you could see here:
http://www.marlinowners.com/forum/w...austrian-new-336ss-remlin-quality-pics-4.html
I've attached winged skinner sights (front and rear) and hat the stock glued since the shop I had bought it from came up with a non-fitting English-style straight replacement stock.
After my second time at the range, and an approximate total of 40 shots on that rifle, a screw stood out the receiver. I tightened it and checked all the other screws. The second one I touched broke right away. It's the loading gate screw and now the action is blocked.
And now the best thing comes: The shop I've bout the rifle here in Austria from went out of business... Gr-rrr!
And Marlin? Doesn't indicate any official representation in Austria or Germany on their website. The sell their products to Europe but don't seem to know whom to. Maybe they see us as their garbage dump, at least the quality of the rifle the sold me indicates that.
So, does anybody here have an idea of how I could get the contact data of the direct representative of Marlin in Austria/Europe?
Thanks a lot,
PB
