QD Rings for my M1A Scout

Y'all, I should be getting my Leupold Scout Scope soon for my M1A Scout and I would like to use quick detach rings to mount it with. I know that some manufacturers claim to "hold zero" so I'd appreciate recommendations on what you use, whether they really work, any tips, etc.

I think that QD rings will be a perfect addition to my scout ... I'm interested in other's experiences. I am currently using the standard knurled weaver rings on a Browning BLR and get about 1 MOA max movement with a take-down and re-mount cycle. I have always felt that this was better than transporting the rig mounted and subjecting it to rough handling. I saw that Leupold sells QD rings that are pretty reasonable ... Any experiences out there?

I use ARMS #22 H rings on a Bushmaster VMatch, #22 L rings on my M1A with a Smith mount, #39A2 carry handle bi level rail on a 2nd Bushmaster and a #5 ARMS Riser on my Stoner.

So I guess you could say I would say go ARMS #22's and with your Scout rail more than likely the #22 H.

I have the Leupold QRW rings and bases on my M700P. They have worked well for me. The added convenience of being able to unmount the scope for cleaning and whatnot is great. The only problem I had with them is when putting the top half of the ring onto my scope, it was a very tight fit and scratched the finish on the tube i little. Not like you can see it under the scope anyway, but i know its there. :) It says in the instructions to flex them out when putting on but they were so stiff i couldnt budge 'em. Overall I really like them though.
