Q re: Browning HP sights

Quick Q: does anyone know how the front sight on the adjustable sight Browning HPs is attached? Is it dovetailed, or pinned or brazed? Some of the early catalog pix show a dovetailed sight (I think), but later pix don't seem to show any dovetail. I'm wondering about swapping adjustable sights on one of these for fixed and wonder how hard it may be to find a used one with a dovetailed front sight.

It depends on when it was produced. The more recent manufacture, say the last 10 years, have been dovetailed. Prior to that either silver solder or brazing was used, don't remember if any were staked in.
