python moonclips

If any one is interested, Dave Hearth is makeing moonclips for the colt I frame. I purchased some and had two Pythons cut, they work flawless.
The clips fit 8 other colts like a glove. I now shoot my colts competitivly
in all the ICORE matches.:)

hey that's great to know. I own a couple of Official Police pistols which have (as far as the cylinder and internal workings go) the same build as the Python, love to get a few, they a little less bulky than speedloaders

Colt moonclips--now that is something.

Welcome to the board josephthreedogs. Where are you located? Do you have other revolvers?

Until I got a CMP M1 I was strictly revolvers and joined ICORE about 6 months after buying my first handgun (686+) at age 52. Need to get back to the ICORE shooting. I've picked up an M66 and PC 627 V-comp so far at the IRC match and drawings thanks to S&W's lavish support.

Guy,
I'm in Las Vegas, Nevada. We have been shooting ICORE here for two years now. There nare a few shooters from the San Diego area who come up to our matches a few times a year. I have been shooting handgun competetions since the late '60s, ICORE IDPA USPSA and PPC Whoops almost forgot Bullseye. I have quite a few other handguns, It would be hard to name one I don't own. The python is by far my favorite. My current puthon has over 10,000 rounds of major power factor rounds through it with no troubles.
Although I do all my own gunsmithing on it.
