A month and a half ago I sent a couple of nickel revolvers back to Colt for tuning and refinishing. The Trooper mark V was just color buffed and came back looking great, all at no charge (even shipping to me). The Python had a blemish near the grips and a little mark near the trigger that did not come out with the buffing. Long story short I paid $200 to have the gun re-nickeled as it shoots like a dream and has a great trigger with perfect timing. Today I just got the finished gun back and I am STUNNED! It looks like a brand new gun (its almost 30 years old) and is finished perfectly and my trigger is still as light and smooth as before! I am really happy I spent the money to refinish it and I am glad Colt can still deliver. I'm at work now but I will post pictures tonight. Only problem is, I'm now hesitant to shoot it!!!
