The Chunk is nearly here! The directions on this thread say push it to the limit! We ask about stopping power. Well, out here we just shoot a ten pound punkin out of a long barell to a range of a mile or so. We call it Punkin Chunkin. Ya'll Come now Y'hear...

This all started when a neighbor of mine got his guns all taken away from him for making a .50 caliber auto without permission.

He's never allowed to own a gun again. So I told him... Well Trey why don't you just make something BIGGER that is NOT A GUN within the laws of the ATF... And this is how it's grown.

Here I've been wanting a bowling ball mortar when I can grow pumkims for free.
Got to get back to my tater gun and work up.:D
 
Most of the tubes don't need cleaning as they are scoured clean by the three or four second after blow of the air or propane charge. Of course some folks, who use propane as a propellant, have a spark to ignite the barell after the shot which then gives a nice 20 foot diameter by 100 foot long flash right behind the punkin. :eek:
 
Do suckling pigs go out of season? :D

Can we get Armor-Piercing Incendiary pumpkins? Sabot pumpkins? Is DAPRA in on this?

Can we put one of these things in orbit and not have the Russians complain?
