Don't know why nothing's showing up. But here was the original post:

OK, I've been thinking a lot about a pump rifle in 357Mag, .44Mag, .41Mag etc..
Some of the points brought up like top eject is true. Being a lefty, I have an Browning BPS bottom eject, which I love. One of the advantages of it over a regular shotgun (aside from the fact that it doesn't leave welts from hot shells on my right arm) is I can point the bottom of the gun at someone, rack, and eject a live shell at them, as a warning. Then tell them "the next one is coming out of the muzzle". Works great.
Anyway, I was thinking, If someone designed a pump rifle in revolver calibers, that was say around 5 lbs, bottom fed, and bottom eject, breaks down like the BPS's in two so you can store it easily (receiver + barrel) who would be interested?
The BPS in 410 is probably close to something like a .44 Mag without too much retooling. Would you guys agree?
I have an exploded diagram of the BPS, and it doesn't look too tough to understand, elegant design actually (3 cheers for JMB).
So, anybody out there work for a firearms manufacture and would like to build something like that for the rest of us? I can work CAD, and after a few months might even be able to redesign a gun like based on the BPS, but I have no way of making parts to try it out.... and I don't trust my own CAD designs.
So.. err... Anyone? I'd love to have a bottom feed and eject pump rifle in a revolver caliber under the christmas tree 3 years from now..
