Anyone have any idea where some public (BLM) land is in southern kern county, preferably near hwy 14, for shooting some targets/melons/etc.. I don't think that it makes any difference, but will be shooting a remington 11-87 police and maybe a S & W .38 special.
For those who don't know, you are not allowed to shoot on BLM land in LA county, and I think Kern County looks to be the next best option.
I know that there are only two designated areas where target shooting is permitted in Angeles National Forest.
