Bought a pair of 809's for backyard plinking. Thought i'd share. I did have issues with one of the mags, set it aside to fiddle with later. Also the front sight was too high on one of them causing it to shoot low, so i replaced it with the medium PT 1911 sight. All good now. All shots offhand with two hand hold. I fired about 250 rounds in each gun with only 1 FTE in one of the guns. The push button holster is kinda neat, never had one like that.
While i bought these to play with, the PT 809 does have everything I would want in a CCW. External safety/decocker that locks the slide when applied and also an external hammer that is easily thumbed back when drawing from a holster.
