Prvi 7.62x54R Brass

I have some GRAF stamped brass made by Prvi Partizan Uzice, and for some reason, the primer pockets are REALLY deep. Like, I'm not even sure if I'm bottoming them out they're so deep. I've fired 2 sets of 5 rounds with the same load, and I get horrible almost diagonal (more vertical though) stringing and the primers that are seated very deep come BACK to the case head and seem to be hitting the bolt face and the primer indent is catered very badly. This hasn't happened with S&B brass and I'm a bit Disappointed because PPU usually puts out good stuff. Any ideas what's going on? Do I just need to buy new brass?

I have never had a problem using it. It is almost all I use. I shoot the factory loads. Then reload the brass. The only other brass I have for it is Norma which is great brass. It is just that I only got the Norma brass because I could not get PPU ammo at the time. The Norma brass cost more than the loaded PPU ammo did. I have Fired the PPU cases with Large Rifle Primers for full power loads, and I have shot it with Large Pistol Primers with gallery loads using either Trail Boss or Red Dot with 110 grain .308 bullets. Never have had a problem, and I have more firings than I can count on many of the cases.

Diagonal (more vertical though) stringing isn't caused by deep sitting primers and primers don't back out due to it. What's the load?
