Proud Papa

First of all I'd like to thank the dozens and dozens of commentators to whom
I have begun to understand what it takes to obtain "The Gun".

In past posts I went back and forth between the S&W 686 4" 357 and the Ruger GP100 same. I went out and felt each, hefted them and tried them out at my
local range.,
Well, I finally did it and bought a brand spanking new in the box Ruger from Budsguns.com. Price was $541.00 out the door plus $35 at local FFL dealer.

I could not have done this without everyone's two cents and i listened to everyone. I ESPECIALLY WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO PRIVATELY WROTE TO ME ESPECIALLY SKIZZUMS.
I hope this is appropriate. BUY THE WAY, WHAT'S THE NAME AND NUMBER OF A DECENT SPEED LOADER FOR MY NEW ADDITION?

Many thanks,

Doc

Actually, I am a Yankee Doodle from NJ. Thank you for your thoughts and complement and maybe it's the 16 years I've spent living here near Nashville.\ or my father's insistence on courtesy and manners.

Have fun popping caps Doc!

The GP100 is as strong as they come.

I have 2 GP100s, a 3 inch and a 4 inch. Both are 'Canadians', as in Canadian P.D. guns.

If I didn't like 'em, I sure would not have them!

OP, you should have gotten the Smith & Wesson!!

JUST KIDDING!!! :D

Ruger makes the best medium-framed double action .357 magnum revolver today IMHO. They are absolutely fantastic. Just recently, I picked up this GP100:

Model KGPF-340, late production 2012. It's an awesome gun, and a great companion to my KGP-161. Yeah, that's right, GP100s are addictive!!!

The Safariland Comp II's for the GP100 work very well in my experience, those are some excellent speedloaders. HKS-586's work well too, but I like Safariland a little better.
