Proud of my wife

Boy was I proud over this past weekend. Went on a 3 day canoe trip with my wife, best friends and a group of their friends in PA. Had a great time, the state of PA should change their slogan to "It's greener in Pennsylvania"

Well some how the talk around the campfire got on to the subject of guns (imagine that 9 guys, 2 women, 3 kids). My wife was able to quote word for word all the real facts that I've been shoveling her way via email. Thanks to everyone that's posted articles here. This and our infrequent discussions of news items (I'm not allowed to watch the news much, I yell to much at the tv) has certainly changed her opinion.

Used to be she was against me having even a shotgun to defend the home. Now she wonders why I don't always carry my gun.

So what is the lesson learned? Persistance pays off.

We are right, we don't lie, and we do not waver from our convictions. Make sure you forward all these news articles to your friends and family who are not yet convinced. And do it now, before the elections.

Eastern PA is nice and I visited there to see the Jumonville Glen (where our President to be started the French Indian War), Fort Necessity (where he surrendered to the French), Fort Ligonier and Bushy Run.
