One of my co-workers own an RRA match master steel with scope mount in .38 Super. He uses an aimpoint red dot scope. This is his comp gun. However, he does own a Millennium Protector but it's blue not stainless.
Both shoot very well but it's near impossible to judge them side by side due to the caliber difference. You will not be disappointed by either. The Wilson comes with a lifetime guarantee. I'm not sure what the RRA guarantee is.
Personally, I would recommend the blue gun over the stainless if you want a pure tack driver. You can get a better fitting with a blue gun. Down the road, if you want that shiny stainless look, you can get it hard chromed. If you decide on a Protector, order it from Terry Peters. He owns
P&T Partners. That way, you don't have to pay sales tax (unless you live in Texas).
Wilson's reputation speaks for itself. His customer service is outstanding. When I talked to RRA a week ago to order my slide and frame, they were extremely nice people to deal with. Very friendly.
PERSONALLY, I would take the Wilson for the extra money because they're well proven. I don't personally know of any Wilson owners that do not love their performance. RRA is still kinda new. I'll wait a bit before I get one. Regardless of whatever you decide on, you'll be happy. I hope this helps.
P.S. I own a Wilson CQB and Sentinel. The only time I fired an RRA was through two friends of mine.
