I usually prefer 124gr.+p,but thought because of the bonded gold dot bullet that this might be a decent alternative.Correct me if i'm wrong, there should be no jacket separation & retained weight should be very close to 100%.Only concern would be expansion through heavy cloth, but the added vel. should help.Pen. should be better than most 115 grainers because of bullet design & retained weight.

I have recently switched to the Pro-Load 124grn +P round from the Triton 124grn. The Pro-Load has far less muzzle flash than the Triton, yet retains decent muzzle velocity and muzzle energy. I considered the 115grn, but John from Pro-Load convinced me to go with the heavier bullet. According to the latest Sanow tests the heavier bullets, 124/125grn performed best.

I've shot a fair amount of Proload's 115 gr. +P (~500 rounds) and it performed well in terms of accuracy, reliability and consistency... But I also switched over to Proload's 124 gr. +P, which I feel is a better all around round... But in actuality, differences in the "premium" rounds is very little. Go with what you feel comfortable with, but most importantly, go with what is the most reliable and accurate in your gun... I don't think that you can go wrong with Proload... :)

I was reading one of those "Glock Autopistols" magazines that come out once a year. They said the 115gr +P ProLoad only expanded to .38 caliber out of a Glock 26 which is pretty sad IMHO. It expanded to .49 out of the Glock 34. I'd stick with the 124+P. I think the hollowpoint opening might be a little bit bigger on the 124gr.
