People may have seen this - I thought it was hilarious - it's a note being written by Mr. Bush to Ms. Rice at the 2005 World Summit and 60th General Assembly of the United Nations... and it reads:
I think I MAY NEED A BATHroom break?

Yep, when the most powerful man in the free world really puts his mind to it, it's just frightening what he's capable of. :D

I can't make this stuff up, see:

U.S. President George W. Bush writes a note to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during a Security Council meeting at the 2005 World Summit and 60th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York September 14, 2005. World leaders are exploring ways to revitalize the United Nations at a summit on Wednesday but their blueprint falls short of Secretary-General Kofi Annan's vision of freedom from want, persecution and war.

The left wing is really desperate, when they have to stoop to this rediculous pettyness. WOW - taking a leak is an impeachable offense now!

Nothing impeachable about it... strictly the lighter side of politics - that's why I put it up here. Everyone has a body, and everyone uses the bathroom - big deal... but everyone doesn't pass notes to their buddy during an important meeting to ask if they can use the bathroom... and when that someone is actually the President of the United States... that is just the funniest thing!

I forget if it was Leno or Letterman, but they spoofed in Rice handing back a note saying "You should have thought about that before we left the house"

I will need to play back that State of the Union Address to see if that note he solemnly passes to Mr. Cheney reads "I think I MAY NEED TO PASS gas?" :p

Maybe because he was hearing so much SH!T from the U.N. he had to empty his Colon to make room for the next session from Kofi!!! Geez people didn't have to stoop this low when it came to Clinton, I guess Bubba never had to use the mens room, maybe because he wasn't a, NAW I won't go there.

Lol!
W "thinks" it..

Billy Carter - first brother to Pres Jimmy - was a legend in his own time for his public urinations...

Doubt if Billy would have bothered with a note,,,he probably would have just stood up and *written his name*

his daddy needed a bathroom break too, but he didnt get it. remember when he puked in front of all those japanese diplomats?

The UN gives me the sh*ts too. I hope he came back into the meeting room smelling like a latrine. :D

Yeah, those commie pinks are always looking for a dropped fly. Everything is their fault. Always!!!!

The funniest thing about the whole situation is that the "leftists" aren't "making it up" but as soon as it happens, the "conservatives" jump all over them about "being desperate". The true humor is how silly they all act over nothing.

I think it's a sad thing when our leaders and representatives have to resort to name calling and childish taunts and tricks in order to have something meaningful to either say or make happen. Usually the most derogative thing said about these people are that they are "liberal" or "conservative" or whatever. Since when are labels "bad" or the people who belong to a particular party deserving of such "bad" name calling?

Politics isn't supposed to be about how bad the "other guys" are. Instead it's SUPPOSED TO BE about how everyone serves the greater good for the people. Regardless of which "side" you're on.

As for today, Bush is an illiterate idiot (can we all say Nuclear? Or is it Nucular?) who has no business in the oval office. Clinton was a lying ass who acted like a little boy who got caught with his hands someplace they shouldn't a been.

What we NEED (desperately) is a REAL LEADER but the only candidates on the horizon are all from the same pack of mental defectives.

what would you do?...wet yer pants instead?
I would just get up, go out, and do what needs to be done, that's all. Look, I am not trying to say this is anything "impeachable" as has been suggested, just that it looks extremely silly - I brought it up as political humor.

It seems that most folks just get all offended and defend that as normal instead of laughing - well, I can only say that I have never seen anyone do anything like that in any business meetings, and I am nowhere near the level of leader of our country, just a scientist. Personally, I'd be laughing if any colleague did that also, let alone our President, which makes it even funnier, to this man at least. People are taking this way too seriously.

When people grow up and get real jobs, they usually have to go to meetings. When a meeting goes over an hour or so, they usually have 5-10 minute break. What Bush was asking was if a break was coming up, not for permission to go.

The questions then become: why was there a news photographer looking over his shoulder at his notes, and why did the editor think this was a good story to run? Because it's not just a "harmless" joke, there are less "enlightented" cultures in the world, who will see this as weakness. I'm sure it's already been on the front page of Al-Jezzera for example.
