Don't forget QC...
I'm not as concerned with quantity as
quality .
I highly doubt these ammunition & shooting industry firms can absorb all this new interest & sales w/o hassles, production delays, loss or reduced materials, shipment or logistics errors etc.
Like I explained to my good friend(a non shooter & non-gun owner) guns are not like toasters or cars or TV sets.
The firearms & shooting sports industry(gear, holsters, ammunition, optics, gunsmiths, etc) can not be sped up 100mph just to meet demands.
A FFL holder/shop employee agreed with my remarks in a TFL post noting how a major gun maker screwed up 2 customer orders due to factory employee errors.
These guys & gals are working 10-16 hours a day 6-7 days a week in some places. DRT Ammunition's CEO was quoted as saying they added a 3rd shift full time at their main plant;
www.drtammo.com .
That's one small firm. Just think of Glock, SIG Sauer, S&W, Colt Defense, Wilson Combat, S-A, HK USA, Beretta, Ruger, etc.
