process of buying a handgun on here?

Could anyone run me down on what all the acronyms are for, ftf, etc.

Living in louisiana currently deployed in iraq whats involved buying handgun online? Do i just send the money through paypal and recieve it back hme in the mail, or is it more complicated? Thanks in advance, appreciate the help
 
FTF - Face to Face

Some states allow face to face, or private sales without the need to go through a dealer. These sales are limited to in state sales.

Buying a gun over the internet usually means the gun cannot be (99% of the time) shipped directly to you. I think this forum has a link to an extensive library of short hand commonly used in the gun world.
