Just dumped my Poly M14S into a USGI fiberglass stock. Fits great, feels better than ever.. one problem.
Thanks to the cutouts on the right, I presume for the auto parts, the retaining pin for the oprod spring is no longer held in by the stock. That means over time it can work it's way lose. That means I suddenly have the spring retaining rod sitting in my magazine well at rather inopportune times.
SO.. I was planning on just sticking a shim of some kind down there, but was wondering if any of y'all ran into this same problem, and what you did about it. Ideas?
And oh yeah.. my FIRST choice would be just getting the auto parts to , but I don't think that's an option at this point...
Thanks!
