I`m not much of a rifle person, so I`ll throw this out to you people. A friend has this rifle that he received from his Grandfather who passed away. It will chamber a round, but the hammer won`t drop. The safety seems a bit tough to move, but I did get it to fire once after removing the bolt and reinserting it, so I know it does work. Wouldn`t fire again after that. Won`t dry fire either. It was purchased new around 1982. It has a six round plastic mag.
