Problem with new Glock 19 pre-ban magazine

I recently purchased two G19 pre-ban mags via mail order - each was from a different source.

One of the mags works perfectly. The other mag will only work correctly if I only load it with 14 rounds. If I load it with 15 rounds, it works OK if the gun is at slide lock when I insert the mag. However, if the slide is forward, I have to really bang on the bottom of the mag to get it to lock in. After it is locked in, when I attempt to rack the slide, I can't. The slide will only come back about 1/8" or so.

As I said, if I only load 14 rounds in the mag, everything works fine. I've loaded 15 rounds into the mag and let it set like that for 24 hours, but it hasn't helped.

Any suggestions?

Are they Glock Factory Mags?????

Shoot it with 14 rounds for a while to see if the spring loosens up. If not, replace the spring. Also, compare the two followers to see if they are the same. If not, then send it back to Glock for repair!!! I understand Glock is good about reparing their mags and returning them to you. :)

If they are aftermarket mags, especally Pro-Mag, then you are screwed!! If you try to send it back to Pro-Mag, they will take your standard capacity mag, destroy it, and send you a "replacement" 10 round mag!!!!

If it is a USA mag, :barf: you might as well pitch it or just use it as a 14 rounder!!! USA mags are junk anyway!!!
