While getting ready for duty tonight and
checking my equipment; I happened on what
could have been a dangerous situation. I
picked up my North American Arms .22Mag
Mini-Revolver as usual; unloaded it, and
began to check the action? To my surprise
the cylinder was binding, and the hammer
had not even reached the half-cocked notch.
This is the first time in about three weeks
or so, that I had checked this weapon. After
careful inspection, I found NO problems with
material or workmanship. I proceeded to put
a couple of drops of Break Free CLP into the
action; but it had little or no effect. This
has never happened before with this little
gem. Could it be that while caring this piece
in my right front pocket; perhaps a piece of
lint or other foreign substance somehow got
into the action? I know that NAA will warranty these guns for a lifetime; but
suppose I had occassion to rely on my
back-up weapon? Where would I be? All replies
are welcome.
