I have an 870 with the vent rib barrel and cantilever rifle barrel with a Swift 4x fixed power scope. I am thinking about selling it since I have another shotgun I use more. How much do you think I should ask for the package? I hate to get rid of a perfect firearm but I just don't use her anymore. Here is a pic of it....It has a few small handling marks.

IMO, I would look over the closed auctions to see what similar guns actually sold for as well as the various For Sale sections on forums like these. I would also go to various pawn and gun shops in your area to see what they are asking. That should get you pretty close to an actual and fair price
 
Part it out -- you may get more is you sell them separately. Many folks are looking for a cantilever set up who already have an 870. Others are looking for a good used 870 and couldn't care less about slugs.
 
+1 on parting it out

the barrels alone should be worth about 150-175 each, depending on use. I would assume you could get about 250-300 for the 870 with the vent rib, but I am not sure about the slug barrel.
