Pro-Mags for Taurus Pt-92

Are these any good? I saw them on J&G Sales website for 11.95 ea for 15 rounders. Anyone use these for their 92's? Good, bad? Let me know. Thanks.
 
the promags will probably work fine. If it were my PT92 I would Buy Mecgar mags they are in my opinion the best aftermarket mag. try http://www.kyimports.com click on accesssories then click on magazines, scroll down to taurus $24.95 I think it is worth the extra $$$ if you have em. G.R.
 
I've got a handful of these for my PT-99, and they're clearly not as good as factory mags -- rougher finish, cheap plastic floorplate, feed lips slightly rough and more springy. However, they work OK for me at the range (I wouldn't trust them for defensive work, though). I do note that on loading to capacity, some of the feed lips seem to spring open slightly, but not enough to affect feeding. They don't drop free as nicely as factory mags owing to the finish. YMMV.

The mec-gar mags are the factory taurus mags for the p-111. Mine has mec-gar stamped on it along with taurus and made in italy.
