PRK-AB-273 is BACK!!!! Call/email today

I believe this is from the CalNRA. It's almost pointless to call the two POS listed first, but everything helps. Even non-PRK residents should email/call. This law requires registration of handguns with local police. Moving to a new residence REQUIRES you to inform the local police. Just like registered sex offenders and felons!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE FORWARD - AND CALL/EMAIL!!!
AB273 (handgun licensing) is back!! Call/e-mail the authors on December 4!

Let’s make sure they remember why this bill was pulled at the last session!!

Here's a reply I received. It's confusing, I first here that Peretta and Scott are reviving the bill and now it's gone. Not to say they can't take the wording and give it a new bill number.

Everyone, thanks for the support.

Dear Mr. XXXX:

AB 273 did not make it out of the legislature last session and is no longer
a viable bill.

Sincerely,
Assemblymember Fred Keeley

It's back!!!

AB-273 is dead, but the text has been copied and has been given new bill numbers. This is from another board:

Kevin Shelley didn't waste any time in reintroducing this crap into the bill mill. He obviously didn't learn his lesson from the last session.

Also check out AB22. That will wipe out any remaining private FFL holders. Given how badly hurting the public stores are, this may spell the end of any chances of legally acquiring firearms in Kalifornia in the next few years.
