Pride in my America

I am so proud of America today that I can barely stand it. We have re-elected a man that we can trust, that has staked his reputation and political future on defending this country from very real and deadly enemies. With more votes than any other president ever earned and clear majorities in both the popular and electoral vote, Bush has been given a mandate to continue the work begun in 2001. We, as a nation, have clearly stated that we do not trust a fatally corrupt UN, that we repudiate the easily bought, weak spined Europeans and that we WILL NOT kowtow to terrorists of any stripe; we will continue to progress as a nation based on our best interests and with our safety and security being of paramount concern. We will not be lulled into indifference by appeasers nor deviated from the course in our war on terror by fearmogers and defeatists.

We have resoundingly affirmed that we WILL NOT elect a traitor to the highest office in the nation, no matter how many lies he tells and how much fear he sows. We have told the media that we won't be bamboozled by forgeries, falsehoods and sanctimony. That Mr. Kerry will now be relegated to the ash heap of history fills my heart with appreciation for the common sense of average Americans. That Terry McAulffe and Tom Daschle are among the losers only makes this day that much sweeter. Bring on Hillary. The leftist/socialst monster that the Democratic party has become is fatally wounded and on the run. Her day is coming.

Today is a day of celebation and much rejoicing. I think I'll go to the range and make some noise. :)

gburner, we don't always agree, but today I say: Amen brother!!! :D

I'd just like to add that if not for Rich & the folks that run TFL we would not have had a way to steadily fight back against the media's strangle hold on information dissemination. No way to effectively fight back and sunset/repeal/change laws that steal away our RKBA. No effective way to gain back our God-given right to defend ourselves and our loved ones.

I personally thank God that we do.

Life is good :D

AWB gone.

Kerry not the Pres.

Daschle gone

Senate moving right.

House still Republican.

PA is a great place to live.

TFL back on line.

:D

I'm with Fred...

I am glad that I have this place to visit and regain my senses during the week. I work in an office of all women, liberal women. Its tough. I am the ONLY republican in this office. Its tough having to defend my beliefs 8 hours a day, expecially before this election. Much appreciation goes out to the moderators, and the people that run the firing line.

Amen, Gburner.
We may not have scored a Home Run for the Rebublic, but we're still very much in the game. The very fact that Americans resoundingly rejected the incessant media bias and Bush-Bash and looked thru the Image Makers' masks gives me great pride.

And let's thank the NRA/GOA/SAF/JPFO with our checks, for getting out the word about Kerry, and allowing Bush to nickel and dime a win from the 3-votes here and 5-votes there red states with a lot of gun owners.

Bush wins popular vote by 3.5 Million......let me see somewhere around 4 Million NRA members........too bad Kerry wasn't a gun owner/hunter might have saved his ass HUH.....Long live BUSH...Long live Texas

I'm so happy!

I'm taking everybody out to eat tonight: my girlfriend, my ex-wife (!) and Pete, who is working on my house.

And my daughter gets a shopping spree at the mall (she needs warm clothes for the Connecticut weather where she's attending school).

I made phone calls, knocked doors, gave out yard-signs and bumpers stickers and talked myself blue in the face for Bush/Cheney.

People were extra-friendly to me lately and it took me awhile to figure out why. Two guys at the range Sunday came over to offer me their guns loaded with ammo. I shot, for the first time, 32acp, 223cal, 7.62x39, 40S&W, 30cal Contender and Dirty Harry's 44mag. 6 calibers I'd never shot before!

The second guy kept offering various firearms and let me shoot at least $12-15 worth of ammo. All without my asking!

Why?

I finally figured out that it was the Bush/Cheney button I was wearing pinned to my shirt.

And I met great people wherever I went.

I don't want to take the button off.

Now we have to hold Bush's feet to the fire on the 2nd amendment. And on his policy toward Israel. He's a very good friend of Israel, but his "road-map" and his support for Sharon's "disengagement" and for a Palestinian (terror) state, must be changed.

I'm exhausted from staying up nearly all night watching the results on TV, listening to the radio and following the results on the net.

Truth is I'm not really happy; I'm ecstatic!

PKAY.... you hit the nail on the head buddy.......I think I'll do the same...maybe a Hi-cap 9mm for starters........IT'S GOOD TO BE THE KING !!!!!!

....talk about "clutch" politics!! One thing (we) Americans do EXCEEDINGLY well is comin' through in the clutch! It may take us awhile, and the "exit polls" were disturbing; but once fired up we CAN count on the cavalry!!!! Abandoning this nation to the ignorant, weak, and wuss is NOT an option; and I doubt I am alone when I refuse to surrender......NOT in MY country!!!!

And whats extra sweet is the fact that Bush's reelection is really pissing off those liberal losers in Europe.
Hey France-----BITE ME!!!

Te Anau: just an addition to your great post.....France can KISS my HUNTIN'/SUV DRIVING/GUN OWNING/TAX PAYING/ REDNECK TEXAS ASS !!!!!!!
right on BRO !!!

I am happy too and I voted for Peroutka!!! I won't go into the reasons this late at night but I just had to say that America should be proud of herself! We did this election with the "Ballot Box" and not the "Bullet Box" !!! In some other countries there would have been armed troops at the polling places to see that you dropped the righ ballot in the right box. We did not need UN Poll Watchers to monitor our election either. While we rightfully feel that our country is on the right track again we need to hold the presidents feet to the fire re: AWB, 2nd Amendment, TSA, The Patriot Act, the heavy handedness of some of the HSA enforcers and on down the line. Don't forget that the losers in the Blue Areas will not be forgetting or forgiving all that soon either!

Party on but keep alert! :D

Well, for those who are happy about the election :
Congratulations !
And for the couple of Inbreds : Hell for you will be driving to
the French restaurant in a "deux chevaux 2 CV" and I'll
be your snotty waiter serving you your "all you must eat
Froglegs" with an unterminable portion of greasy freedom fries .
Regards,
Laurent
