Checking Prices . Rose Zero bullets is the best bang for the buck at $125. Per thousand with free shipping , also Evergreen is pretty good to also free shipping . Rainier bullets at MidwayUSA are $99.99 its a plated bullet but shipping is not free. Would like your input . Thanks , Chris

A plated bullet is not a jacketed bullet. FMJ or otherwise. So there's no comparing the Rainer's to the Roze Zero's. So you need to decide what kind of bullet you want/need. Cast/plated or jacketed. Partial to cast 230 grain RN's or FP's myself.
The two bullet types are not loaded with the same data either. Plated use cast data.
Plus buying components on-line gets expensive in a hurry.
Roze Zero is showing 230 grain FMJ's at $74 per 500. With free shipping if you buy 1,000 at $148. Assuming we're looking at the same Roze.
Best to buy locally, but do a net search for 2'30 grain bullets' as well. Turns up 1.48 million sites.

I placed an order for 500 Rainier bullets last week , I should have them by Monday , wanted to try their 230gr. .451 diameter bullets. I saw the sale on line for 1000 quantity , as WVsig posted precision delta with NC on shipping is a better with a better bullet . Once I get the order processed I'll give them a try also. Thank You for answering . I will post how it went with both bullets . Chris

For short range shooting I do not think you will see an accuracy difference. There might be a function difference but if you plunk test a few of the bullets in each of your barrels and make sure they spin. Sometimes there will be variances in bullets but for pistol unless you have a tight chamber they all full function.

I have found that many of the best bullet brands online offer free shipping. Rocky Mountain Reloading, Precision Delta & Xtreme all offer free shipping. I pay about $.07- $.08 for 9mm and about $.11 to $.12 for 45 ACP.

Sometimes places like Cabela's have sales on Berry's and Xtreme that if you have coupons from their "club" and are offering free shipping you can get plated 9mm for $.06 and 45 ACP at $.09.

I'm using the bullets for point an shoot 21' max . I'm using a Colt New Agent 3" 1911 with CT Laser grips , place the shot where the dot is , no aiming just press an shoot. Can go through a lot of rounds per session . Thanks for all your help , Chris

After I test the Rainier plated bullets if all goes well , I'll give plated bullets a hard look for quantity pricing . Feel bad for the delivery people , the box is pretty heavy for free shipping .

Yeah my mail carrier leaves a note and says come get them at the post office. 4000 rounds of 9mm packed into 3 flat rate boxes is heavy.

What kind of service is that , that is one heavy order though . Hopefully if the plated bullets work for me I'll see if they leave the same note . Have fun shooting , Chris
