i went to a gun show yesterday i saw a new in box stainless ruger old army the price was 549.00 i also saw what looked to be a .22 cal colt black powder it had some comem. 1862 - ??? something on the barrel i guess my qston is what is a good price for the roa??

$549 tax, tags, title...out the door? I'd probably give that amount as by today's standards that would be a fair price. What about the details? Barrel length, fixed/adjustable sights, type of grip?

There are certainly ROAs going for more on GB.

roa

well i didnt post any details i thought they were all the same untill i just looked through the pics some have posted here it was a long barrel . very nice it looked like a monster next to my 58 rem .. im looking for a stainless 58 in .36 but was tempted . i thought one would be plenty i was mistaken . i have learned so much on this site. im lucky got a bp to shoot .i spent most of my free time reading page after page. my day off is today im gonna do the couple chores for the lil lady then head to the range to blow off some pyrodex and try to convince myself its as good as REAL black. {ive never shot any}

Keep checking Gun Broker. A stainless ROA just sold like new in box for $450.00 + $25.00 shipping. It came with box papers etc. Made in 1992.

I bought a slightly pitted barrel blue ROA for $290.00 + $15.00 shipping. It is in very good condition.
