Who has the best price on NIB military Bulgie Makarov? I remember someone posting that a distributor has some that come with a rubber grip also. Does anybody know who this is?

Thanks

I'm looking for a Bulgie for my dad as an Xmas present. He is a revolver kinda guy but I think after firing a few of my semiautos he might be looking to branch out ( ;))...he is also notoriously poor about keeping his guns clean (*roll eyes*)...so I think any semi-auto designed to handle Warsaw Pact conscript troops is the one for him.

Aim Surplus has 'excellent condition' ones in stock at $119/ea, I think...each comes with an extra mag and 'a leather holster' (heh. It'll be interesting to see what THAT turns out to be).

Anyone have better prices?

Mike

A friend and I purchased a pair from J&G Sales in Arizona (www.jgsales.com) and they came with Pierce rubber grips installed and with the original military grips also in the box. They had also had an extra magazine, but J&G removed it nd crossed it off the listing of contents. I'm very happy with it. Cost was $109.95 (when you buy two or more). Unfortunately, I don't think they come with the Pierce grip anymore (J&G said their current shipments come with plastic thumbrest grips).

AIM Surplus, as you mentioned, also has them. They leave in the spare mag and include a leather holster. A friend got one from them. The holster isn't bad, although it is a military flap-type holster. It does appear new. Might be kind of hard on the finish - just rough leather inside - but not bad. Aim's cost is $112.95 for two or more. I think either J&G Sales or AIM Surplus are good sources of these. There are others as well (SOG, etc.) that are also probably fine, although I haven't used them.
