Price range of a NIB W. German Sig p226?

What is a "reasonable" price to pay for a NIB W. German Sig p226? I love Sig p-series guns and have a special kind of appreciation for the West German vintage, I've looked at several NIB guns over the last few months and now have the cash to pick one up. Many range from $1, 000 to $1, 400. What is a reasonable price to pay for a West German NIB P226?

Over $1k for a NIB one is reasonable in today's market.

...Unless it's a Lyson's corner one with mud rails---then it goes up a lot.
