Price on Beretta 92FS Stainless

Is $476.00 a decent price on a Beretta 92FS Stainless with one 10rd magazine?

It is new. Also, what's a "brigadier" vs a normal 92?

BTT

BTT for the last time ....

Is it new or used? At the last gun show in Houston, a new one, presumably with two mags, was $509; a Brigadier, $559.

I don't recall the price on stainless but I found a blued model 92fs brand new for $499 back in Jan. I looked around a few places and found them for $499 to $569.

brigader has a heavier contour slide.... makes the gun alot nicer to shoot due to the more weight up front.

If your going to buy one get the brigader, or check out the new models they have out like the border patrol model. http://www.berettausa.com/

That is a pretty good price. Since it's 9mm I wouldn't worry about not having the Brigadier slide. But my Border Marshal is a beautiful piece, and I have noticed that the stainless are not as smooth actioned as the Brunitons. Love that action!

Brigadier has a heavier slide. I'm not sure it comes in stainless, though.

The price sounds good. My only additional input is to see whether the gun is American or Italian. I'm told the Italian ones are of a little higher quality than the newer American ones, but also harder to find and more expensive. I'm pretty sure the one you're looking at is American because of the 10 round clip.

I have a stainless Italian version. It was my first gun, and I love it. Finding hi-cap clips is fairly easy.

My LNIB Italian SS 92FS was $700, and most American mades are around $500 for the same. Try Gunbroker.com and Auction Arms for pricing.

A tip for you if you want SS hicaps is to find a plating shop and get them e.less-nickled. Buff the black of the baseplate and it's hard to tell them from the italian chrome plated versions. Cost me $50 to do ten mags (CZ and Beretta), might've been able to do more since this was a flat fee minimum.
