Price of a new ruger gp100 3"

Fellas,

I've spotted a stainless steel ruger gp100 357 mag 3" new in box for $455 out the door. Do you think that's a good price? I've been thinking about getting a 3" to go with my 3" S&W 686p. I'm a sucker for wheel guns. Also, if anyone owns both in 3", how do they compare. I sometimes carry my S&W IWB and it's a little heavy but is very doable. Thanks.
 
I paid $600 for the gp100 6 inch about 7 months ago. So that price is good even if you wont shoot it that much.
 
You better be back there as soon as they open their doors or it will be gone. Can't tell you how many deals I missed by waiting to ask if it was worth the price. This one is a great price.

I can't believe you got it for that price! I wonder if there was a pricing screw-up, because that is the lowest I heard for a NIB gp100 of any length/caliber/finish. You're one lucky dude... go by a lottery ticket, quick, before the luck finds someone else!

Glad you picked it up, that was a good deal. Cant wait for the range report, ya I have been part of the missed it crew before. I go home to do a little "homework" and go back the next day and its gone.
 
Nice score, i may go to Sportsman's Warehouse and their price then go to the local gun dealer and see what their price is.

Sorry I haven't posted a range report. I still haven't had a chance to shoot or clean it but here is a picture of it with my 3" S&W 686+
 
Here is another shot. Nothing anyone hasn't already seen but it's cool to add another ruger to the family.
