I was reading some news on the value exchange rate on the Dollar against the Euro. The dollar has lost 18% in the last year alone. Now we are paying for it. Just checked the Cabelas website and the prices are higher. Jan 1 2007. The Walker is now going for $399.00, and the 1861 Navy .36 is $265.00 if I remember right. All the suppliers will be following suit soon. Get em while the gettings good is all I can say!

Used replica percussion revolver value

You can expect the value of the used guns, especially the older ones to appreciate as well.

Blame the increase of metal prices. Just look at the spike in ammo prices because of the spike in brass prices. The majority of black powder revolvers use brass as the metal that the frame is made from. I remember when the cheapest 1851 Navy revolver in Cabelas used to only be 80 bucks. Now it's over 120.
